I finally received my order from Hi-Fi Cosmetics (yes, I paid for the products). We've been having problems with mail lately due to ban on overwork and strikes so I haven't really relied on my mail getting to me. But when I came home today a small packet waited on my computer desk and I knew that I finally got my make up.
And first I will introduce you to my baby! My eyeshadow love that is. I think most of you knows it by now but instead of sample bag I've been using I got the full size one this time. Yes, it's Psycho Mind and I hate that I can't catch the beauty of this eyeshadow. Honestly I can't tell you what colour it is since it seems to change it and straight from Hi-Fi Cosmetics' Etsy shop: PSYCHO MIND is a very dark and complex asylum of color-shifting magic! Magic indeed <3
Ok fine, let's move on.
I got full sample collections of both Labyrinth and Nightmare 2010.
First Labyrinth.
I also got a Spotlight lip glaze in Sad Love for free. It was for some offer when you buy enough you get one lip glaze or eyeshadow for free and I chose it since I - don't we all? - need more lip glosses. Can never have enough. I tried it on but hard to catch the colour since there isn't natural daylight possibility for me to take my pictures in (I get to work when it's dark and get off work when it's dark, so yeah). I will try to use it on weekend when I can access light but here's description from the site: SAD LOVE is a frost-laden pink with beautiful sparks of rose and iridescence! It really has some sparks to it and I like the colour itself. Bad pic of it on my lips, I promise I will let you see the gloss on daylight soon. Only had small sweep of it on my lips and it is a bit darker irl.
And then the Nightmare 2010 Collection.
Dark Carnival and Spookshow look so great that I might need to try them on asap. And I love the names! Living Dead Girl just makes Rob Zombie's same named song ring in my head but it's good.
And last not but least the freebies.
Live Large and Grinch are lovely bright colours and I really can't get enough of green and purple eyeshadows. I also got a sample of Broken Halos Spotlight Lip Glaze. I unfortunately didn't try this on yet but the description makes it sound interesting: BROKEN HALOS is absolutely exquisite with its shimmering lavender base with undercurrents of refreshing aqua pearl. Might need to try that on too over the weekend since I don't really want to carry it with lip brush in my bag so have to settle to use when I don't have to touch up my lips during the day off home.
I will try - I promise! - swatch at least the collections soon. I know, I'm really slow and bad at swatching eyeshadows but I'm too interested to see what these look like on my skin instead of bags without first trying on lips so I think I will do it.
If you haven't - and if not, why - check out the fantastic products at Hi-Fi Cosmetics' Etsy store.

I like the gloss on your lips and the powders looks so intriguing. The names alone sounds catchy. :-)
ReplyDeleteGrinch looks awesome, I don't think I have that one! I LOVE the Labyrinth collection, it's probably my favorite makeup collection of all time. Every color in it is so unique and complex.
ReplyDeleteLabyrinth collection is great. It just has quite a lot of lighter eyeshadows and I usually use darker ones but at least I can mix them up with some darker ones from other collections.
