Naturigin Hair Colour

Today I thought I need to touch up my roots and spent a little while wondering - again - what hair dye to take. Then I saw a stand of Naturigin hair dyes and 100% free of parabens and ammonia, plus it was based on organic ingredients, made me take their hair dye home.

I chose the Platinum Blonde. Our shop also didn't have all the colours that the list above has. Platinum blonde is the one on the picture.

So off I went to put it to my head. Smell was a bit weird after being used to ammonia pushing through. It is said on the packet that it's subtle and nice smell but I wouldn't say it was too subtle, it is still quite strong but not ammonia strong. Bottle was lovely see-through and looked fresh. There were same things that are included in most hair dyes - instructions, bottle of activator, colour creme, gloves and conditioner. So it was like using any home hair dye.

Hair dye went on nicely, wasn't too runny or too thick. It did itch on me but then again my scalp has been itcy today anyway and I've been scratching it so might've been a bit too sensitive scalp to start with. Wasn't as bad burning as I usually get from bleaches.

30mins and washed it off. Conditioner wasn't as conditioning as with most other dyes I've tried, the smell was nice but I will need to use leave-in conditioner after this and I normally don't.

My roots seem a bit darker than they normally would be after dying my hair but otherwise it has lightened my hair at least a shade.

I'm sorry I threw the packet and everything out before taking pic of ingredients but there was long enough list of them.

Price in Finland for this is around 10€, I bought mine from Tarjoustalo, haven't seen these anywhere else yet but I bet they will be sold in other stores soon if not already.

Overall, I'm happy about the product. Only minus is the conditioner (my hair felt quite dry after they dried) and maybe that due to lack of ammonia it isn't as bleaching as other colours so if you want to go many shades lighter this isn't a dye for you (even says on package up to 2 shades lighter hair colour).

Will definitely buy this in the future.

LOTD ~ Purple and Gold

Today's look is done with Inglot make up I bought yesterday. I still need practice with gel eyeliner but otherwise I'm pleased with the colours and how the look turned out. They're all pretty colours and I think I will be playing with these for quite some time.

For this look I used all of the colours from the palette just to see how they worked together.

Little Inglot haul.

I went to Inglot yesterday to buy my first products from there. Not the first time I've been inside the shop but on previous times I haven't really known what I want but this time I had figured out in my head all the eyeshadow colours I need. (I also bought leather gloves yesterday so that's why they're in the picture)

So in I went and started to look for the colours. It was easy to start from matte white. Then I wanted 2 different gold shades and 2 purple ones. Next time I will have to get green ones and cranberry kinda red.

This is the palette I made.

Colours from left to right: 373, 439, 446, 26 and 07 (even tho on the website this colour is coded as 27)

Here are the swatches of the colours in same order. First with flash and second without.

I also bought my first gel eyeliner and will test it today so soon you will see how that turned out. And to be safe I got black one.

That was my little haul that you will see in action in my next LOTD.

LOTD ~ Raven

This look was inspired by Raven. I was watching RuPaul's Drag Race yesterday - again - and kinda fell in love with the make ups they do. I'm not going out full drag since I'm a girl but there are some elements I wanted to try. This look isn't from the series but mix of make up's Raven wears usually. It didn't turn out the way I wanted and I already did it twice to get this so couldn't be arsed to try fiddle around anymore.

I used MAC's Vanilla and different shadows from my 96 palette for this look. Plus of course eyeliner and false eyelashes. Here we go, picture spam.

In last picture I'm wearing just Nude Delight by Rimmel on lips but on the ones above it I have Wet'n'Wild's some lipgloss on top of it. I did go out with this look but I didn't have anything on my lips except lipbalm. And I realised when I was omw home from shops that I didn't even use blush.

And what did I buy from shops? That's up later on today.

LOTD ~ Bumblebee

This look wasn't inspired by Bumblebee but it reminded me of it after I got my make up done. I wanted to try my new Gosh eyeshadow which I bought earlier this month and it's sparkly yellow. I didn't want clash of colours so I paired it with black - Urban Decay's Perversion. And this is how it turned out.

It took me over twice the time to get home today from work than normally. Finland still can't take winter - especially not our trains - so had to freeze myself on train platform for 20 mins before I decided I will just go to central Helsinki and take bus home which luckily came as soon as I got to the stop.

Have a great weekend everyone!

LOTD ~ Creeper

Another look with Hi-Fi Cosmetics' Halloween 2010 collection - like I said yesterday I would do - and yes, it's green.

Eyeshadows used:
Gosh's Love That Champagne eyeshadow pencil on lid as a base
Reaper (outer V) on top of black eyeshadow pencil
Creeper (inner half)
Living Dead Girl (outer half and on top of Reaper)
Phantom Stranger (highlighter)

I really loved all the colours and will definitely need the greens in full size. Love love love.

Been having a headache most of the day and I really hope it buggers off during the night so I can drag myself to work, luckily at least it's Friday tomorrow.

LOTD ~ Spookshow

I wanted to try Hi-Fi Cosmetics' Halloween 2010 eyeshadows and especially Spookshow so this is the look I came up with.

I used:
Spookshow (inner half of the upper lid)
Lords of Salem (outer half of the upper lid)
Rusty Axe (blending up from crease)
Dark red from Gosh's Bohemian Gypsy palette (lower lashline)
Zero pencil from Urban Decay

On lips I have Nude Delight by Rimmel

I think tomorrow might be time for a green look, quite possibly the greens from same collection.

LOTD ~ Green Mad Hatter

As name could give this look away I used Absolem and Mad Hatter from UD AIW palette.

My posts have been quite quick and I haven't talked much. I'm just too tired after work to mostly concentrate on beauty stuff, maybe on a weekend I can do a bit better posts.

LOTD ~ Smokey Purples

I wanted something purple today so I used the purple from AIW palette and then Cult - both by Urban Decay. Little bit of black on the outer V to give the look some depth. Sin I used as highlighter/blending.

Not much and bad pics but was bit rushed this morning, already missed one train.

LOTD ~ Golden Brown

I did really fast look today with UD's AIW palette and some eyeliner. Foundation and blush on and I was ready to go - to do some posing.

That's it for today!
