I wanted to use all the 5 random Hi-Fi Cosmetics eyeshadows I got while back in one look. And luckily for me it turned out ok.
I also tried for the first time whole nail Konad stampings.
The other hand is opposite: leopard on all fingers except ring finger is having stripes.
Also it's Walburgis Night in Finland which means party! Well not really for me but in general. At least we have streamers and some silly headband (can't see but it has butterflies on top).
Hopefully your weekend is going great!

LOTD ~ Shut it!
Don't take it personally, the eyeshadow I used today was Fyrinnae's STFU :P I love the colour, it's amazing deep brown with golden glitter.
Also it's my birthday so I was allowed some glitter - I would've loved to have real glitter on my eyes but don't own any eyesafe glitter.
Sorry for the creasing on the inner corner since I took these pictures after 8h workday, post office and shop visit.
Tomorrow's Friday! Wohoo! Well this week has been short anyway so next week will be quite suffering since I have holiday for 1 week after that and my boyfriend's coming over. I think I'm just counting hours on next Friday when I start the short holiday.

Foundations For The Fair(-skinned)
For this comparison I just swatched 8 different foundations I own - most of them being the lightest possible shade from the company/foundation range. I left out my Joe Blasco one since I knew it would be too dark, I also use it as an under-eye concealer mostly nowadays since it's way too dark for me.
So yeah, these 8 are the ones I took for this comparison:
Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra - 010 Beige Porcelaine
Revlon ColorStay - 150 Buff
Lumene Skin Support - 10 Pale Porcelain (Lumiverho)
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation - 51 Light Vanilla
Revlon PhotoReady - 002 Vanilla
Benecos Natural Creamy Make-up - Nude
Oriflame Matte Control Foundation - Porcelain
Gosh X-Ceptional Wear - 11 Porcelain
Out of all of those I doubt you can get your hands on Lumene anymore. But it's also a Finnish brand that should make really light colours but it isn't light enough for me in winter.
About Revlon ones: There is lighter version available from both. From PhotoReady it's called Ivory and it's more pinkish than yellow and from ColorStay it's also called Ivory. I just couldn't get my hands on these since the only shop nearby that sold these didn't have them left when they had them on offer - they stopped selling Revlon alltogether. I will buy lighter ones as soon as I find them from somewhere. Taking suggestions about this since I really like both products!
Here are the swatches (thickly applied with finger to show you the base colour also):
And they were swatched in this order (upper row is 1-4 and lower 5-8)
As you can see the upper row are the darkest ones. I was actually surprised that Benecos looked so light since it looks really orange-y when I take it from the tube. Lightest of all the foundations I have by far is Gosh's X-Ceptional Wear which is my go-to-product in winter since it's quite thick and nicely matte - too heavy to wear in summer. It's followed by Oriflame (which is a Swedish brand so meant for Scandinavian skin).
PhotoReady is quite fair already so getting the Ivory would probably be really good for fair-skinned. I doubt Ivory from ColorStay would be as light.
Lancôme is more pinkish than yellow - probably closest to neutral but since it's really think it blends to my skin perfectly. I wore it to my previous LOTD so you can see that it doesn't look too dark - my neck is just horribly white compared to my face even without make up so it does look quite bad.
Also my arm is really white as you can see, my face has now tanned already - and like I said before: I hate it! But that gives me chance to wear the darker (for me) foundations and freckles do make me look darker than I am.
But yes, my arm where I swatched is probably as white as anyone can go - it's almost see-through white - so if you can't really find a foundation and you want matte/heavy coverage foundation then go ahead and try the Gosh one.
One trick you can always do if you really want to use some foundation but it isn't light enough for you - mix it with white foundation. Not sure which companies have white ones, I only have one from Stargazer which is really heavy, but I think bigger ones that also have range for stage makeup would have them.

LOTD ~ Light In The Darkness
Like I said earlier today on my Facebook I did my version of ProfoundTorture's Semiramis' Mirror look (I will post link to the video to the end of this post). In the end it really doesn't look like it at all but then again this isn't replica of it, just my version. I just fell in love with the idea of bright yellow lid and purple crease.
The gorgeous yellow is Stargazer Eye Dust in 30. It's amazing matte yellow, costs only £3 and the jar is HUGE (1,8g but in loose form it's quite big). I really love all the Eye Dusts I have from them, really pigmented and definitely worth the money - can't say much good about the pressed eyeshadows tho, especially the neon ones.
And the video (she's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G with really good music taste :P ):

LOTD ~ Poison
This look is my version of the look Nicole Scherzinger has on her music video Poison. This one is inspired by the good, superhero kind of her. Only used 3 eyeshadows (skin colour for all around, darker for crease and lower lashline plus white as inner corner highlight) for this look.
Today's been lazy and I've been tired. I think I try to get to bed earlier than normal today (which means before midnight). Apparently visiting family can suck out all the energy.
I bought today Lancôme's Teint Idole Ultra and will be doing a review of it as soon as I have something to tell about - meaning as soon as I've worn it on my face for few days.

LOTD ~ Candy Arabic
This look is done for the MUG challenge of the week that needed to have three colours in it - aqua, lavender and pink. Not really my kind of colours - at least when put together - but I thought I give it a try anyway.
Oh yeah, my face looks TANNED compared to my neck/chest. I hate tanned skin and now that my freckles have woken up again after winter it makes make up look patchy too. So that's why I only put on mineral powder foundation just to even out the skin tone since my skin is starting to be in good enough condition for not needing much of concealing. I like the sun since it makes me feel more energetic but I hate what it does to my skin. And yes, I wear SPF50 and the mineral foundation has SPF15.
Eyes:
Fyrinnae Looking Glass (mid lid)
Urban Decay Kiddie Pool (inner part of the lid)
Stargazer 37 (outer part of the lid)
Stargazer 13 (inner corner highlight)
Pink and purples from 96 palette
Lips:
Stargazer lipstick (lilac, forgot the number and too lazy to go check it out, probably 115)
Oh goddess that last pic is gross. I want my white face back! (I know the lipstick makes it worse, took it off before I went out the door)

Off for the weekend!
So yes, I'm off for the weekend. Leaving tomorrow straight from work with my daughter to my parents' for the Easter. So that means I'm spending few days in the Archipelago. That means 2h in train and 2h in car before we're there. Going out to eat with relatives on Sunday to Turku and coming back later that day. Nice to see everyone after a long time :)
These are pics taken from the island last summer so not so warm now:
So no posts between this and Sunday evening. Hope you all have a great Easter/holiday/weekend!

Storm
My definitely favourite superhero is Storm from X-Men. I don't know what is it but I would love to control the weather. Maybe at least in Finland with our -25C winters. Brrrr...
To the look!
In the end it was really simple and fast to do. I used UD AIW palette for the lids (Vorpal, Mushroom and Jabberwocky). On the lower lashline I used Decadence by Hi-Fi Cosmetics. On my lips I have Gosh On Stage - Cool Lip Jam.

80s Barbie
Now I should've really had my blonde hair. So black-haired Barbie that is this time. Goth Barbie? :P
Anyway I overslept today - like I explained on FB - and couldn't do the look I planned on doing today (it will be moved to tomorrow) so instead I made a look from my favourite movie when I was a kid: Barbie And The Rockers. Tbh any Barbie in 80s probably had blue eyeshadow and pink lips.
Really quick look and lipstick is wrong pink, I know, just couldn't find the lighter pink in the morning rush.
Eyeshadow is Aromaleigh's Big Tickle and lipstick is Maybelline's Juicy Bubblegum.
