1. I work in debt collection and I really like my job - some may say I'm crazy
2. I always wear black - usually nothing but black
3. I'm dating an Englishman and living in different countries is quite hard - hopefully not living like this for long
4. I LOVE to sleep, I could sleep most of the day if that was only possible
5. I hate snowy and cold winter and my body doesn't like temperatures above 25C - and in this country I get both
6. I would like to have a house where everything extra isn't on show - everything neatly tucked away behind doors and in drawers, I really don't like knick-knacks at all
7. I have a cat now - me and my ex-husband got two cats when we were still together but when we divorced he kept them both - after all the years cats started to fight and I took the other one here

LOTD & NOTD ~ Brown Suede

Today's make up look was inspired by my nail colour. I bought two OPI nail polishes from a blog sale - can't remember whose now - and I got them yesterday (would've gotten them last week but they couldn't fit through mail box and didn't get to post office before yesterday).

Other one of the colour is You Don't Know Jacques! Suede which I wanted to try on first. And I really like it! It's fun matte-suede (well it's matte but looks suede because of the shimmer in it) finish and I wanted to do a make up look that would go with my nails.

I wore this look to my daughter's trip to get vaccinations and rest of the day I've been at home since my stomach is acting up again. But yeah, here's the look.

For eye make up I used black kohl pencil, matte black eyeshadow and my 96 palette browns and on lips I have faint dab of pink lipstick.

I hope I feel better tomorrow since I really need to get to buy stuff for this flat when my sister moves out - like washing machine since I can't live without one for too long and of course microwave.

I need a good small yet sturdy pencil brush, anyone has any suggestions?

LOTD ~ Flirty!

These are two looks from last two days - well Sunday and Monday since I didn't take any picture of today's look. I used same lipstick for both called Flirty Pink from Oriflame, hence the name.

This was my Monday's look for work. Really simple black eyeliner - brown eyeshadow look.

And this was my Sunday's look. Wanted something soft and pink (I'm going insane!).

For this look I used pink from Sleek Original palette and some matte brown.

Hopefully I can think of something more exciting for tomorrow. Or at least take pictures of my look unlike today.

LOTD ~ Summer is Orange

Fast summery look today with bright orange lips. Only went to drive around and get some pizza so I put this look together in 5mins.

I used Benecos liquid mineral foundation (in Nude) mixed with Nuxe's Anti-Shine Fluid (lotion) and spread it all over my face with fingers. Then I used some Gosh Touch-Up concealer to hide worst blemieshes and dark under eyes. I used Gosh Love That Champagne! eyeshadow pencil, Urban Decay's Twice baked and some bronzer to my lids.
On my face I used Inglot bronzer (for contouring) and Urban Decay Baked Bronzer in Gilded for cheeks and sides of my face. Then on my lips I used MAC's Electro (lustre finish from Neo Sci-Fi collection).

I've been cleaning up kitchen - washing dishes, cleaning cupboards, throwing stuff out I didn't need etc - for the day. Tomorrow it's time to defrost the freezer - exciting Midsummer I'm having :P

LOTD ~ Strawberries and Roses

So cute name. At least should expect something pink-ish. Well you get only bit of pink today.

Yes, pink-ish eyes, pink blush and strawberry lips.

Eyes are done with only third eyeshadow from the bottom row from Sleek i-Divine Original palette and brown and beige from Storm palette. I didn't use the really rosey pink eyeshadow from Original palette since it seemed too harsh in the morning when I did my make up so I went for the more neutral toned next to it. Of course eyes are topped with liquid liner and mascara.

Cheeks I did with MUA Shade 2 blush (shimmery pink) and lips are done with MAC Hello Kitty Sweet Strawberry lipgloss.

My ultrasound today showed nothing so back to thinking it's all about my actual stomach. I will be eating Somac for next week too and then see if it helps or not - if not I'm back to doctor and might face gastroscopy (I really hope not!).

No work tomorrow, thank something for Midsummer! I will sleep... and then do some cleaning up and packing and my parents come over on Sunday.

LOTD & NOTD ~ Snow in New York

I got inspiration for my today's look from my nails that I painted yesterday. The colour is - surprise, surprise - New-York by Mavala and I did the tips with white crackle polish. Darker nail polish shades aren't just for colder times!

Make up is really simple - matte white and grey. I even used grey liner pencil.

I'm having an ultrasound done to my upper stomach tomorrow - not pregnant, should've just said to my mum that I'm having ultrasound done tomorrow :D They probably don't find anything but it's mainly to rule out things that might be wrong with me. I pretty much know what's wrong but they just have to apparently do everything in some order. Been feeling really bad this evening but hopefully it goes away and I can be at work without feeling too sick.

Should be stormy wind here tomorrow - bad for those who start their Midsummer or summer vacation tomorrow.

LOTD ~ Sparkly Smokey

This morning I really had a problem to think about what to do with my face. I stood there for quite a while and stared at my make up storage. That doesn't really happen often since I think the previous evening what I want to do in the morning - at least about what I want to do. Then I just grabbed MAC Paint Pot in Quite Natural and started from there. Ended up using black gel liner and some really old sparkly eyeshadow on top of it all.

This is the finished look.

Face is quite neutral with bit of bronzer for the hollows and coral blush.

I'm not gonna list the eyeshadow I used on top since you haven't been able to get it for years - yeah I have old make up - and you can recreate this look with any black gel liner.

Today is the longest day of the year. 19h to be exact - and the remaining 5h don't mean it's pitch black. I sometimes miss winter just because it's dark then at nights - autumn would be fine too. I hate sleeping in light so it's just annoying.

So I wouldn't just complain I will end this post here and start to think what to wear tomorrow on my face :D

LOTD ~ New Gamboge

Today's look is sort of inspired by Beyoncé in Telephone video but then again I couldn't really remember what her make up was like, only that it had winged liner and yellow lids. So this is what I came up with.

Also you can see my home-made nails. I just noticed that the glitter has stuck to the bottom of the bottle so will have to throw it out. Was fun while it lasted! I think I won't think it's fun when I need to scrape the glitter off my nails.

Only 3 days left of work and then Midsummer! Which I will be spending at home probably helping my sister pack up her stuff - she's moving out.
