Pill Made of Sugar...

Today I received (well I picked it up from post office today, it already arrived last week) my FIRST EVER Sugarpill order.

Yes, I know, I should've bought from them earlier but they had birthday sale so I wanted to try them. Unfortunately all the matte colours I wanted were sold out so I got two loose eyeshadows. I also bought few eyelashes. This is what arrived:

Lashes I got are Stormy and Sinnocent.
Loose eyeshadows are Goldilux and Stella. I also got Birthday Girl sample plus the sticker everyone gets.


Can't wait to try these out! I think I will start from Stella. It looks interesting so might wear it tomorrow for work.

Review ~ Dove Nourishing Oil Care Daily Treatment Conditioner

~This product was received through Buzzador (BuzzAgent in some countries) for try and tell -purpose ~ 

I already tested Dove Repair Care conditioner last year and I thought it was ok. I have to say from the start that I prefer this way more.

What does Dove say about the conditioner?

Instant deep nourishing power of a treatment in the time of a conditioner for amazing smoothness, softness and shine.

 I have to agree with it. I'm not sure how much of the action was due to silicone but my hair felt smoother, softer and shinier. But the best part was that my hair got straight. I have this weird wavy hair and I only brushed my hair once when they were damp and the hair were straight when I woke up next morning. Usually they would've been all over the place and I'd have to use water to get them down. I know it means that the product weighs them down - probably silicones - but weird enough it didn't make my hair look any flatter than normally. Now my hair looks healthy.

I quite like the product itself too since it's white and yellow striped.

And what do these stripes do?


White Stripe–Contains conditioner that seals cuticles to lock in nutrients and smooth frizz.

Gold Stripe–With Weightless Nutri-Oils, deeply nourishes and replenishes essential nutrients without a greasy feel.

 I was quite surprised how well it worked - and the nice "side effect". Still not totally sure if I will buy this myself when I run out of the product but we'll see.

LOTD ~ Mellow Yellow

This look was done for NTMS (FB group I'm in) Weekly Showcase of the same name.
This look is the only way I can wear yellow since it clashes quite badly with my skintone if I don't cut it with some darker colours. I can only survive having it on the moving lid.

House on an island...

Like I said on previous post this has nothing to do with makeup/beauty. This is about interior design. Weirdly enough, mostly about a toilet.

Reason for this post is that I saw my parents' house done for the first time this week and also first time I saw their toilet done. It is the best-looking toilet I've ever seen. Sounds odd, doesn't it.

First I have to tell you that my parents do live on an island in Finnish archipelago and their house is mostly decorated with things that represent that part of Finland. I'm more of a city girl which means I wouldn't have chosen similar decoration but it suits their house - and them.

So if you don't want to see interior design things now it's time to go browse some other blogs...

I will start this from the toilet. Ok fine it has my makeup bag on the counter and my daughter's towel hanging which kinda ruins the sea-theme. Hopefully you can see past them.

Best feature is something I can't add here - the scent. On one of the glass bulb there's a pine tar string attached which makes the whole toilet smell like tar. And Illusia that has been written on the drawer (yes it's a drawer) is my daughter's third name. The print on the wall is taken from a beach of the same island by my father.

I also happened to like my parents' sauna since it's is quite big compared to ours.

Sauna has a fire stove which means you have to put a fire in the stove to warm it instead of modern electric ones. The fire stove can be changed to electric ones if my parents get tired of using wood to warm it up.

Also my parents wanted a fireplace and an old wood-warmed stove to their kitchen (they also have electric one next to it but apparently my father prefers the wood-warmed stove).

And this is how I spent most of my holiday (I wasn't sleeping - I was reading):

LOTD ~ Atomic Gothic

This was my yesterday's look. Today I'm not wearing much since the headache has been persistent for days now and I just couldn't be arsed to do much to my face when I took my daughter to her grandmum's.

I did eyes with Urban Decay's Ammo Shadow box (Smog, Sin, Oil Slick and Polyester Bride) and Inglot gel liner. As a blush I have Evil Shades' Atomic and on lips MAC Electro topped up with orange lipgloss from Primark.

I spent most of my holiday at my parents reading. New book from Kim Harrison came out on Tuesday called The Perfect Blood and it's for The Hollows series. I read it in two days. Would've read it in one but I had to eat too and spend time with my parents/daughter. Besides that I started to read Georgina Kincaid books by Richelle Mead.

I think next post will have nothing to do with makeup or beauty. I will post it later today when I've gotten pics uploaded.

So yesterday I went to FME (Finnish Metal Expo) with my boyfriend and wore this look. It is simple, quite normal for me to wear on gigs but I doubt not all of you would wear something like this out.

LOTD ~ Brown Eyes - Orange lips

Two different LOTDs with same concept - brown eyes and orange lips. Done with Project 10 Pan products.

I've been boring with my makeup this week - shape has stayed the same, only colours have changed. Will be trying something different at least on Friday after work since we're heading to FME (Finnish Metal Expo) to see Swallow The Sun, ICS Vortex, Paradise Lost and Edguy. Will be nice to go out since we've not really been anywhere lately.

Project 10 Pan

I lied. I can still count and this picture has 11 products.

I'm counting as two of the Oriflame eyeshadow duos as one since I couldn't just choose which one I want to be done with so I took both.

Anyway let's start to list the products:

1. Oriflame Seeing Is Believing eye cream - as someone who knows Oriflame products can tell that this is really old container for the eye cream. It's been in a different one for a while now. I have few eye creams/lotions I want to be done with so I thought I could use this first since it doesn't have much left. It works as fine as any lotion, I really don't see a need for separate eye lotion as long as the face one can be used on eyes.

2. Dermosil For Faces Asebiol night lotion for oily skin - I don't see this making my face less oily and it definitely doesn't help with my spots so I will just use this to the end on the parts of my face that need more moisturising in winter than the gel I use for night gives.

3. Vichy Normaderm Nuit - another night lotion that moisturises better than the one I'm using now but that's pretty much it.

4. Malu Wilz eyeshadow primer - this eyeshadow primer works nice enough but since it has shimmer in it and Detrivore primer is amazing, I really don't see why store this one so I will try to use it up (I also use it for swatches for eyeshadows that have shimmer in them).

5. Joe Blasco foundation - I use it as a concealer since it's so thick. Also it's too dark for me to use as a foundation. Not much left as you can see!

6. Gosh X-Ceptional Wear foundation - I love this stuff for winter. I don't have much left for it and there's not much left of winter either, hopefully. Which means I rather use it up before spring comes since this has lasted few winters already and is getting old soon. Will buy new one for next winter tho.

7. Urban Decay Ammo Shadow Box - I really like this but I have most of the shades in other UD palettes. Also Chopper has crumbled totally to pieces and fallen off. This is the oldest UD palette I own and it shows...

8. Oriflame Eyeshadow Duos in City Greys and Walnut Pearls - not too much pigment in them, also really old ones and I have similar shades in another palettes.

9. Well Licked lipgloss - I quite like this orange but the scent is driving me nuts. Bought from Primark when they still sold makeup. Gosh has the same/similar tubes with LED lights and mirror.

10. MaxFactor blush in English Rose - reeeeallllyyyy old one. Not sure when/where I got it but it still is in good condition. Problem is that pigment is not enough for me. Will probably take too long to totally use it up so might end up throwing it to bin.

I also threw a lot of products out that don't suit my skintone or skintype or were just too old/dodgy. Put a lot of stuff for sale too if you want to buy some off me and help me clear out more space. Just check my sale blog.
